I used to have a lot of problems falling asleep and staying asleep at night. For whatever reason, I just could not seem to sleep the entire night all the way through. Another reason that people can have difficulty sleeping is because of stress in their lives, usually brought on by work-related problems. A good way to get better sleep if this is the issue is to make a point to put down whatever work you have at least two hours before you call it a night. Find another activity to relax yourself and take your mind off of work. I have found that when I do this, I get sleepier faster than I think and falling asleep is no problem whatsoever.
