Ireland V Wales Starting 15

The two teams have been announced and there is little surprise. The Welsh captain Sam Warburton returns to the starting line-up which will be a boost for the welsh team. This is one of only three changes that were made to the side to face Ireland.

For Ireland, Paul O’Connell returns to captain Ireland against the defending 6 Nations champion. Paul O’Connell missed the Scotland match due to a chest infection but he is fully recovered.

The only other change to the side is Gordon D’Arcy who replaces Luke Marshall at inside center. D’Arcy is a brilliant player who sometimes goes without the praise he deserves. He will partner Brian O’Driscoll in the Irish midfield extending their world record.

It has been reported and talked about in forums that it could have been a blessing that Paul O’Connell missed the Scotland match. With the result you could say he wasn’t missed and now the 34 year old skipper is rested for a match where he will be needed.

When the two sides meet at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin you will see a tough match. Both sides will know what to expect and it is really hard to call. Both sides can step it up a gear on the day and if both sides hit form it could be the match of the six nations.
